店内はジャズが流れ、照明もアンダー気味で落ち着いた雰囲気。
ランチメニューが豊富。天しん飯ランチ（900円）、坦々麺と海鮮五目ラーメンの麺ランチ（各950円）、若鶏の唐揚げランチ（1100円）、どれもサラダや小皿料理、デザートが付きます。
私は、玉子の料理ランチ（1100円）を選びました。玉子料理は、ハムとタケノコが入ったふわふわの卵焼きに塩味の野菜あんかけ。黄色の玉子に人参や青梗菜の彩りがきれいで、クワイやぎんなんの歯応えが楽しい優しいあんかけです。
もう一品は、海老とタコのチリソース。こちらもカリッとしたカシューナッツがアクセントに。香辛料は控えめで、食べた後に口に残る程度。
サラダは、花切りのイカにワカメ、大根、レタスにシソ風味のドレッシング。それにザーサイ。ごはんはおかわり自由。私はチリソースとあんかけをミニ丼にして3杯おかわりしました。
デザートは、杏仁豆腐に中国茶。杏仁豆腐は甘さ、香りとともに控えめで、スルッと飲み込んだ後に香りが残るおくゆかしさ。
調味料、香辛料ともに抑えて使うのがこの店の信条の様子。初めは味が薄いと感じましたが、ゆっくりと後味まで味わえば納得のいく味。まさにお店の看板にあるように中国料理を楽しむお店でした。今度は夜に行きたいと思います。
