桑名駅前繁華街の「石どり舎」さん。
以前、中央町にある支店を利用したことがあります。
「桑名銀座」の入口付近にあり繁華街のほぼ中央、
多分一番人通りが多いところだと思います。
お店は、「やきとり」と文字の入った赤い提灯が印象的な外観。
外からはカウンターだけの、狭いお店に見合えますが
意外に奥に広く、厨房をコの字に囲むカウンターに15席ほどと
壁に面してテーブル席も3卓あります。
時間は21時過ぎ
レトロな雰囲気の店内に、先客は10名ほど。
木曜日のこの時間ならこんなもんでしょうか。
メニューは「中央店」と良く似ているが微妙に違う。
刺身系と、白くしに力を入れているのがわかります。
私たちの注文は、

個人的にはもう少し「焼き」が強い方が好みですが
「白くし」は、見た目やジューシーさを考慮して
あえてサッと炙る程度にしているのでしょう。
刺身や串で呑んだ後、麺類や丼物で〆れるのも嬉しいですね。
