I'm going to have lunch in Kuwana for the two-day-a-week teleworking month!! Today I'm going to Tori no Kago☆ I'd like to go to a year-end party with my yoga friends, and it was on the list of options, but the COVID-19 pandemic put it on hold. This is my first time going there for lunch. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats. You can take off your shoes, so you can relax. The most popular items on the lunch menu seem to be fried chicken and chicken nanban, but since this is a charcoal-grilled local chicken restaurant, I wanted to eat charcoal-grilled chicken☆ My husband didn't hesitate to order the wife's local chicken thigh set meal. I knew it was his favorite, so I'll have some (^o^) The chicken grilled over a flame in front of me was a fun performance to watch. The charcoal grilled chicken was just the right amount of charcoal. I chose Kinso-dori Tori Hitsumabushi, which I heard was the first of its kind in Mie Prefecture☆ When I opened the lid of the rice cooker, I saw charcoal-grilled chicken. It was a little different from what I imagined. But it was delicious!! The chicken thighs were densely packed. The rice is soaked in plenty of the rich sauce from the kabayaki and goes perfectly with the charcoal-grilled chicken! Sprinkle some Japanese pepper on top to enhance the aroma. The third bowl of Ochazuke（boiled rice with tea）soup is combined with the sauce to create a rich soup that also goes down smoothly. I want to try the popular fried chicken, and the evening menu was also appealing, so I'll definitely be returning (^o^)
