丘の宅地の中にある小さな和菓子屋。
伊勢丹などのデパートにイレギュラーで販売もしている。
全体的に小ぶりで価格が抑え気味になっている。
夏の和菓子といえば、寒天や葛を使ったものが多く、その質が問われる。
この店のそれは素晴らしく良いとは言えず、価格のせいか素材に存在感が乏しい感じだ。
焼き菓子の胡麻を散らした都饅頭はあまり胡麻を感じず、中の餡も今一つの感じだ。
大納言最中は中の大粒の小豆がポイントのようだが、小豆の風味に乏しい。
デパートの催事によく呼ばれているようだが、全体的に低調。
