伊勢神宮に訪問したことをきっかけに宿泊した。賢島には都会の喧騒から距離をおいた潮の匂いが立ち込める独特の雰囲気が存在する。近辺には多くのオーベルジュが軒を連ね、軽井沢、熱海、葉山辺りとよく似た光景が広がる。それはすなわち、景色と雰囲気を堪能するという目的ではオーベルジュで過ごす１日を費用対効果で考えると、関東に住まう人はわざわざこちらに訪れるメリットはないと言えてしまうわけだが(笑)
さて当店はそんな賢島の一角に位置し、エントランスに着いた瞬間から店員が丁寧に迎え入れてくれる。部屋は普通のホテルと大差ないが、貸切露天風呂がついているのが魅力で外の風景を眺めながら風呂を堪能できる。涼しい風が吹くこの時期は最高の季節と言える。
こちらの最大の魅力は何と言っても食事で、とりわけ夕食が絶品である。伊勢地域で取れた食材を利用したフレンチは東京の店では味わえない格別の魅力がある。特に肉が見事で松阪牛の赤身は強烈な旨味があった。ワインのペアリングについてもさすがのHIRAMATSUといった感じで、種類が豊富にあり、レベルも高い。三重に行かれることがあれば、是非当店に行かれることをお勧めする。
