In a corner of the basement of Sendai S-PAL where a row of cool shops stand. I decided to explore this place while I was in the mood, so I visited Aburiya Jubei, which had a photo of its harako rice outside that really caught my attention. It was a typical Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but seeing that they had a wide selection of rice bowls, I thought it would be a good place to eat alone at night, so I went in. When I went inside, there was a counter and a calm atmosphere with a black theme. It seemed like a good place to come drink alone or with a small group. However, my goal that day was the harako rice. I decided to go for the extravagance with the option of a large portion. At the same time, I also ordered the grilled shiitake mushroom Grilled skewer and a quail egg from the daily specials offered by the staff. The harako rice came out first, which made me feel like Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) prepares food in the order of orders, but I guess I'll just accept it. harako rice. It was my first time to eat something proper. The salmon was lightly grilled, fragrant, and just the right amount of rare, and the rice was delicious, cooked with plenty of flavor, carefully soaked in broth extracted from the bones. The salmon roe goes without saying. I was a little surprised that it was priced at 3,500 yen (excluding tax), but it was delicious enough that I could accept it. The quail eggs and grilled shiitake Grilled skewer that came as a side dish were also very well made, and I'm sure the other dishes were also delicious. This place has excellent sake, such as Denshu and AKABU, and Grilled skewer and other dishes are a real Tohoku delicacy. Not only that, but all the dishes I had that day seemed to be carefully prepared, so I'll come back next time with some proper sake to check it out and see if it can hold up as a restaurant to entertain guests from Tokyo.
