休日の夕方５時過ぎに入店。先客は１組だけでしたが、着席して注文してから、続々と来客があり、さすが仙台屈指の人気店だなと感じた。
注文したのは煮玉子入り中華そば６２０円。価格も良心的。
ただ、この日は蒸し暑く、店内の冷房の効きが悪いのが少々イラつきました。
出てきたラーメンは丼の淵いっぱいまで盛られたスープに極細のストレート麺、ねぎのみじん切りにメンマ、チャーシュー１枚、煮玉子の入ったもので、麺のボリュームはなかなかの食べ応えを感じた。この麺は異様に細く、まるでそうめんと冷麦の中間のような細さだった。
スープは鶏ガラベースのあっさりしながらもコクのある典型的なシナそば系の味。強烈なインパクトこそないが、飽きのこない、リピーターを呼び込みやすい味といえる。
こういう店は支店を増やしたり冒険せず、堅実にやっていけば、永く繁盛すると思う。
そのうち、また来たい。
