PR for restaurants |
Enjoy special Tempura, clay pot rice, local sake and Japanese wine while looking out over Jozenji Street.
You can enjoy light and fluffy Tempura fried in healthy rice oil, rice cooked freshly in a clay pot from the prefecture, sake, shochu, and Japanese wine. This is an authentic Japanese-style meal Izaka |
I visited this restaurant for the first time because my companion recommended it. It is located on the second floor of the building that houses Matsuya on Jozenji Street. I was guided to a seat by the window, so I could see Jozenji Street. The menu was full of dishes using ingredients from Miyagi, such as Fried food, Tempura, Sushi, seared sushi, and hot pots. I ordered lemon sour, but there were many types of sake. The sesame tofu that came as an appetizer was rich and had a pudding-like elasticity that was very delicious. I ordered the seasonal harako rice early because it takes time to prepare. The rice was covered with salmon roe, making it a very luxurious harako rice! The soup stock was not too strong, so the rice, salmon roe, and salmon complemented each other and were really delicious. I Other ordered Tempura, crab miso, and fried horse mackerel. The fried horse mackerel was rare but warm all the way through, and the crispy batter and bouncy texture were fresh. Tempura was served fresh. Everything was delicious, but the sweet Tempura was not the usual sliced ones, but Tempura 10cm long baked Yaki-imo, giving it a new texture and a new Tempura. They also serve Sendai's specialty, seri nabe, so I'd like to try a different menu next time. This is a recommended restaurant for tourists!
