Today I had a drink at "Kakkko" in Nagakecho. What I had was: ○Matsushima sea bream sashimi ○Sardines boiled in Kishu plums ○Garlic grilled tuna cheeks ○Hoya Shutou sake ○Draft beer (Ichiban Shibori) ○〆Haritsuru Tsuki ○ Uraku Junmai Sake First of all, the tofu topped with red bean liver is a sufficient appetizer on its own. The fresh, plump sea bream and boiled Simmered dish are also perfect for drinking. Garlic-grilled tuna cheeks have plenty of large chunks of cheek meat and are extremely filling.The final dish, Hoya Shuto, isn't as addictive as Bakurai, but you could probably drink two glasses of sake with just this.
