仙台出張。到着が遅くなったのでホテルの近くでラーメンでもと調べてみたところ、何やら美味しそうな店が。名物、伝説の皿台湾と大層大袈裟な名前のメニューを注文。950円也。大中小から辛さが選べ、とりあえず中をお願いしました。到着したのは茹でたラーメンの麺の上にもやしとニラ、ひき肉を炒めたものがこれでもかと載っているものです。おまけにご飯がついてきました。麺に辿り着くまでもやしとしばらく格闘、ちょうど良い辛さで食が進みます。ご飯が恋しくなりますが、ここは我慢。やっと麺とご対面です。麺と一緒、やっぱりもやし。麺を食べ終わったところで残ったもやし炒めにご飯を投入。しっかり混ぜてレンゲていただきました。かなりボリューミーで大満足です。今度はふつうのラーメンも食べてみたくなりました。
