On this day, I visited "BLUE LEAF CAFÉ Sendai" in Ichibancho for the first time. It's a cafe attached to an au shop, and I was intrigued by its spacious and stylish space with a wide variety of seating options, so I decided to visit to see it for myself. There are two entrances to the building, and the cafe order counter is located at the back of the au zone. I took a lot of photos, but I guess each area has a theme, like a hotel lounge, a Coffee shops, a library, an office, a Employee Cafeteria, a study desk... I wasn't able to take pictures of everything, so here are some more. It's kind of like Coffee shops theme park, and it's great that you can enjoy it according to your mood that day. I ordered the restaurant's signature menu, ★ French cuisine (Hojicha) for 930 yen. After about 10 minutes, it is served on a hot skillet (a thick cast iron frying pan). There was cream, roasted green tea ice cream, marshmallow, and black beans on the toast. For a moment, French cuisine looked like fried tofu (lol), but that's not the case. The website says that it was slowly baked in a Nambu Tekki skillet, which is probably why the surface is finished like this. The description says, ``Crispy on the outside, chewy texture on the inside, like pudding,'' and the texture was exactly as described, and it was delicious because it was piping hot. The cream and marshmallow on top were very sweet, but the bitterness and astringency of the hojicha ice cream made it refreshing. The black beans had a Japanese-style calm sweetness...I thought it would be strange to pair it with Western-style Sweets, but it was delicious on its own. I think this is the perfect cafe when you want to take a short break or change your mood. I'm glad you found out what I was wondering about. According to MyF's information, Nakahora Farm's Soft serve ice cream is exquisite, so I would like to visit there next time for that purpose♪
