I had a Yakiniku (Grilled meat) lunch at Manpuku-tei, a yakiniku Yakiniku (Grilled meat) located about a 5-minute walk from the east exit of Sendai Station. The shop is on the second floor, and when you look up from the bottom, it seems quite spacious. That's what I thought, but when I walked in, I realized that the restaurant had a reasonable number of seats, and if it got even a little crowded, it would be full. At this type of restaurant, if you're the only one Yakiniku (Grilled meat), it can feel a little bad for the restaurant, but Manpuku-tei had two seats at the counter, which was a good thing. From the lunch menu, I ordered the rib lunch with extra meat. First of all, I would like to mention one disappointing point: The heat in the roaster was too low and the meat was not cooked...I had to turn up the heat halfway through and grill it. It was a low heat that exceeded the limit, so I felt like it wasn't good enough. But other than that it was good. The cut of meat is small, but it's good quality meat and has a deep flavor. The dipping sauce was especially good, and it was one of the best dipping sauces I've eaten while walking around. I am creating a blog called `` Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Encyclopedia'' where I record my visits to Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurants around Japan. If you want to see information about other Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurants, please check out our blog as well.
