コロナ以降、初訪問です。ランチでのビュッフェがお気に入りでした
人気があるので、事前に予約しておきました。２回入替になっており、早い時間は１１時３０分と４５分のスタートとなります
入り口で予約している旨を伝えると、テーブルに案内してくれます。ホテルのレストランらしい、そつのない接客です
ランチメニューは、メインを注文して、サラダやオードブルはデリブッフェスタイルとなります。「 宮城県 白石『竹鶏たまご』のオムライス」（２４００円）、「ホテルメイドブイヨンでことこと煮込んだ“ロールキャベツ”」（２９００円）、「『蔵王爽清牛』と『岩中豚』の旨みたっぷりハンバーグステーキ」（３３００円）、「エビフライと帆立貝フライ サーモンとイカのグリルと共に」（３９００円）にしました
デザートのグレードアップも可能でしたが、後でロールケーキを買って帰ろうと思っていたので、ここはノーマルな「桜と苺のシフォンケーキ」のままです
ここはビュッフェが良いんです。と期待していたのですが、すっかりコロナのせいか、規模は縮小してしまったようです。以前は、目の前で作り立てのものを提供するなど、品目自体は多くなかったものの、満足感はありました。
今は入り口付近にあるコーナーのみ。契約農家などから届く野菜や、宮城をはじめ東北の食材を中心に仕上げているようで、一つ一つは美味しいんですけどね。ミニライスボール、パン、スープ、ペンネ、キッシュ、サラダコーナーなどなど。期待値を上げすぎていたせいで、少し気持ちはシュンとしてしまいました
そして暫くしてメインの提供。オムライスは、オープンタイプで、トロトロのタマゴですね。濃厚なハッシュドポークソースが掛けられています。中は、ブラックペッパーミートソースピラフということで、少し大人の味です
ロールキャベツは、チーズで焼き上げるドリア仕立て。こじんまりしたサイズ感ではありますが、キャベツと肉の組合せは良いですよね
ポルチーニ茸の風味豊かなマルサラソースがかかっているハンバーグ、シェフオリジナルさっぱりタルタルソースを添えられているエビフライなどは食べませんでしたが、美味しそうでした
料理に対しては期待しすぎていた感がありますが、従業員のホスピタリティは流石でした。できれば、いつか以前のようなビュッフェスタイルに戻ると嬉しいですね
