当初の予定を変更し、夫婦で伺いました。カジュアルな服装で出掛けたので、ちょっと心配だったのですが、寛ぐことが出来ました。泉中央は、初めてでした、自然に恵まれて、ホテルも閑かで、落ち着いた雰囲気です。ラグジュアリーですが、温かい感じもしました。
本格的なアフターヌーンティーセットはとても充実した内容です。3段目は、軽食系。多様な具材を組み合わせたプチサンドイッチや、旬のグリーンピースを使ったムース、リエットはどれも食欲が刺激されました。
2段目のオレンジの風味を感じたスコーンは、それ自体、とても美味しかったですが、本場のように、クロテッドクリームが添えられているのが、うれしかったです。サクランボか何かのジャムも秀逸でした。
1段目はスイーツです。チョコレートとヘーゼルナッツのタルトは、濃厚かつ重厚。甘酸っぱいカシスのムースはお口直しにぴったり。焼き菓子もとても美味しかったです。
かなり久しぶりに、本格的なアフターヌーンティーを楽しむことが出来ました。仙台の魅力をまた一つ知ることが出来ました。
