今は閉店した近所の煮干し系の店を訪ねたときに、行列を見て気になっていた店。宮城県立美術館から泉アウトレットモールに向かう途中、寄りました。右折で入ろうとしたら先に左折で2台。最後の駐車枠になんとか入れました。
先客に続いて食券購入。麺量が300gの油そば普通盛りに味玉、連れは麺量200gのらー麺普通盛りに味玉。満席なので椅子に座って空席待ち。カウンターのみの1席が空いたが、店の人からの依頼で後の一人客に譲る。5分もしないうちに2席続きが空いて着席。
購入後すぐに食券を渡してあるので、着席後5分ほどで、連れの中華そばが着丼。先に丼顔を撮影。2〜3分後に油そば着丼。丼顔を撮影してから麺を混ぜる。看板どおりの太麺だけあって、かなり重い。さっそく一口すする。ワシワシとした歯ごたえのある麺。油もしょっぱすぎず、麺の味が楽しめる。チャーシューはかなり煮込んであり、ホロホロと厚さを感じさせない。穂先メンマは甘めのしっかりとした味付けで、油の味に負けない。らー麺のスープにも良く合うと連れの評価。行列できるのが納得の店。
