Take a break and enjoy a relaxing time while looking out at the sea.
Hikado Cafeterias is located near Otani Kaigan Station in Kesennuma and is loved by locals. It is located along Route 45 and has a large parking lot, so even large vehicles can be accommodated. On sun |
I went to Hikado Cafeterias, a restaurant on the southern tip of Kesennuma, to have Ramen. I heard that Hikado Cafeterias was not damaged by the tsunami because it is located on a hill and is on high ground, and opened shortly after the disaster. Since there are no Cafeterias nearby and there is a large parking lot, it has been a very popular restaurant to this day. Today, I ordered the standard Seafood Ramen for 850 yen from the menu. Seafood Ramen contains shrimp, scallops, clams, clams, and wakame seaweed. The soup is salty and simple, bringing out the deliciousness of Seafood. The noodles are firm and curly. While eating Ramen, which has a nostalgic Showa-era taste, I think about the progress of the reconstruction. The reconstruction has progressed quite a bit in the coastal areas, and it seems that some areas have already finished construction. Looking around, I see that many of the customers are construction workers. I think that the workers were eating Hikado Cafeterias 's Ramen to promote reconstruction, and this taste seems to be the taste of reconstruction. Thank you for the meal.
