昭和27（1952）年創業。 |
昭和27年開業の宮城県気仙沼市にある老舗和菓子屋さんです。
創業以来の銘菓「亀の子もなか」に加え、「揚げパン」も人気らしく、地元のスーパーで売られていたりもします。
見た目はフツーのパンですが北海道十勝産の小豆を使い、餡づくりも生地の仕込みも昔ながらの製法で仕上げていますとか。生地が柔らかく中のあんも甘さ控えめですよ。
そんな老舗和菓子屋で見つけたのが「ホヤぼーやサブレー」。
海の子ホヤぼーやは、気仙沼市の観光キャラクタ一として誕生から15年以上なるベテランです。
サクッと軽いサブレにはパインクリームがサンドされているらしいですが、クリームは少量で言われてみないと気付きませんな(笑
※因みにホヤが“海のパイナップル”と言われているから使ったんやろね。
ホヤぼーやの焼き印入りなんでお土産としてもアリ。
