旅先ながら相方がパンが食べたいというので、リサーチして石巻市内のこの店へ。店頭に車でやってきたが、まだ開店していない。車中で困惑していると、同じように近所のおじさん？が歩いてやってきて、様子をうかがいに勝手にドアを開けて中の人に聞いてくれた。その人曰く、GW中は少し開店時間を遅らせていたようだ。
コーヒーを買って戻ってきてみると、既に店は開いており、既に大盛況。店の横にイートインスペースがあり、持ち帰りの客が多いためか、こちらは先客が居なかった。少し寒かったので勝手に空調を調節させてもらった。
店内にはおすすめのパンがバラエティ豊富で沢山。イチオシの牛肉カレーパンを迷わずラインナップに加える。このカレーパン、熱々で外側がカリッ！とし、中にゴロっとした牛肉が入っており、カレールーがまた旨い。２個買っても良かったと思う位だった。カツサンドも柔らかで味も濃厚、食べやすい。卵サンドのフィリングも具だくさんで、惣菜系のパンに満足感が高かった。
コーヒーが自由に飲めるようだが、待ち時間中にスタバに行ってしまったのでスキップした。地元の人たちに愛される風景を見られて観光気分も盛り上がりました。
