宮崎の夜1軒目。宿泊したJALシティホテルから歩いて5分程、駅とかとの位置関係はサッパリ判らない。門を潜ると和風な感じがとてもいい。5人で個室に通して貰った。靴を脱いで入室。掘り炬燵なので楽ちん。
酒はビールの後、宮崎なので焼酎!日南市/京屋酒造さんの、本当に甕に入った「甕しずく」。芋なのに飲みやすい味わい。甕を飲み干して次は高鍋町の千年の孤独。麦焼酎だと、中々などを作っている黒木本店さん。千年の孤独は麦焼酎で最近手に入りづらい品。宮崎出身の同行者によると、クラッシュアイスで飲むのが旨いらしい。度数は40°でハイアルコールだがクラッシュアイスで飲むと確かに飲みやすい。普段焼酎を飲まない自分だが凄く美味しく頂けた。それと、誰かが頼んだマンゴージュースが、マンゴーをそのまま食べてるかの味わいでビックリ美味しい!
食事は以下。八寸から始まり、季節の地茸が美味しかったのと、伊勢海老も宮崎特産とは知らなかったが美味しい一品。宮崎牛は言うに及ばずvery good!!大満足。ごちそうさまでした。
