[August 2019] This is my first visit in five years. Although it is in Miyazaki Prefecture, there are several brands of sake available. There was a sake menu with the words "Yumezen Sake Party 2019" written on it. The sakes listed were: Gokyo Junmai (Yamaguchi Prefecture) Kameizumi Junmai Ginjo (Kochi Prefecture) Hakkaisan Tokubetsu Junmai (Niigata Prefecture) Gokyo Fiveseries BLUE (Yamaguchi Prefecture) Gokyo Fiveseries BLUE is a fruity sake with a sake meter value of -2.5 and an acidity of 2.2. It was very smooth and delicious. [May 2014] I visited with a business partner on a business trip to Miyakonojo. There are many types of shochu. On this day, I ordered one bottle of Kurokirishima 5 go bottle. At Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) near my home in Fukuoka, Kurokirishima is sold in 4 go bottles with 25% alcohol, but in Miyazaki, it is usually sold in 5 go bottles with 20% alcohol. We ordered grilled chicken thighs, grilled chicken neck with shichimi, yam hot plate, farm salad, bitter melon chips, etc. Grilled chicken thighs: firm and firm, the meat juice and fat spread in your mouth as you chew, delicious. Bitter melon chips: sliced bitter melon and fried in oil. A bitter melon version of potato chips, perfect for drinking. We drank the entire 5 go bottle of Kurokirishima. Thank you for the meal.
