2023 [Limited time Beer Garden opening] Now accepting reservations!
[2023 <7/18-8/15>] The popular Beer Garden will be back for a limited time! Please check the "Courses" for details. A spectacular view of Zenkoji Plain from 500m above ground. An extraordinary and exq |
I used the summer-only "2014 Beer Hall." It's 4,000 yen (tax included) per person for two hours of all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat. First, the service. They're clearly understaffed. There are more people at the reception desk, but only a few waiters in the hall. They don't even come to take our order (they can't physically come), and we waited 30 minutes for the first drink to arrive. After that, we ordered drinks, waited 30 minutes, and we only managed to drink four drinks in two hours. Next, the food. Is this what Beer Hall is like? There are about 15 dishes lined up, mainly French fries, Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), ham and cheese, and more. Even when a plate is empty, it takes a long time for it to be replenished. At any given time, 10 out of 15 plates are "empty." There are about 100 customers in the hall, so when a new plate is replenished, people have no choice but to rush over it. There was always a line for the "Churrasco" that was advertised in the pamphlet, and the grill staff was grilling it little by little. Our group started chatting halfway through and gave up eating and drinking. The taste is not worth commenting on. The facilities. The place is great. The view from the entrance (although it was under construction), the waiting room, and the balcony. You can see the whole of Zenkoji Plain. We used it as a summer heat party with a group of over 20 people, but my colleague who couldn't go was surprised the next day and asked, "Why didn't anyone get a hangover!?" Even the person who drank the most only had four drinks... Later, when we took a survey about the venue for next year, all of the more than 20 people immediately answered, "I don't want to go to Amandan Sky next year." It was a regretful experience that I hadn't had in a long time (I was the organizer (crying)).
