When I went up to the third floor of the building where Book Off was located on the first floor and entered the store, I saw a sight that I don't usually see. Candles, lights from the ceiling, and indirect light created a fantastic shop that made me feel like I was in another world. I was shown to a room at the back of the store. Today was a banquet for people close to me, including someone who is familiar with the restaurant in Nagano City. The organizer made reservations for the food and drinks, so I left it up to the restaurant. Start with something light like a salad or carpaccio. The salad is a three-dimensional arrangement of tomatoes, potatoes, leafy vegetables, etc., and the rich Caesar sauce seasoning makes it a satisfying meal. The next carpaccio, on the other hand, is flat and colorfully presented to whet your appetite. When you try it, you will find that it pairs well with white wine. After that, it's Fried Skewers. The menu has an interesting menu structure, with a complete change from the Western style to Japanese style. Fried Skewers was prepared for the number of people, and I ate lotus root etc. for the first time in a while. The sauce was spicy and had a fresh taste. Toward the end, we had stone-grilled rice similar to paella made with mussels and shrimp, and pizza made with mussels. Paella has a strong image of being cooked like pilaf, but this restaurant has it baked. This was delicious and filled my stomach with the aroma and the shellfish remained soft. The pizza made with Jako had a good taste depending on the amount of salt, so I finished off with this. The setting of the restaurant is fun, and the food you eat offers a new challenge, which is also fun. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, making it a great restaurant for a relaxed banquet.
