I don't think I'm that old, but I'm probably old enough to be generally categorized as "old". Ah, no, no, no. No matter how reluctant I am, I'm not going to get any younger. I'm just going to decay like this. However, it will take a little longer for it to decay. So how do I deal with that "a little longer"? It all boils down to this. To be specific, it's about tidying up and tidying up my belongings. I opened up the garden shed and took out what was inside. I took out what was mainly my late father-in-law's and my aunt's, and separated what I needed and what I didn't need... well, most of it was still unnecessary, so I sorted it and packed it so that I could take it out on the next bulky waste collection day. And then it was lunchtime. I'll be on the next step as soon as the afternoon starts, so I can't take much time. It's hot and I don't feel like cooking, so I'll go out to eat somewhere nearby. I take a quick shower and go outside. The place I'm visiting is on SBC Street. "Ramen & Ippai-ya Mansho" Cafeterias or Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located a few doors down from Yamada Denki to the west. I've never been there at night, so I'm not sure. For lunch, they have everything from Ramen to set meals. Prices start from 500 yen, so it's very good. After a lot of deliberation, I decided on this. "Motsu Miso Nabe (with small rice)" 550 yen It seems to be a weekly menu. A small clay pot comes bubbling away. Oops, I forgot it's summer, but there's nothing I can do about it now. On the surface of the clay pot are silken tofu, Chinese chives, pork tripe, and a single chili pepper. The brown soup is filled to the brim. First, I take a sip of the soup. The aroma of miso and garlic fills my mouth. It's so good that I'm glad I have the day off and don't have to work in the afternoon. In addition to Chinese chives, the soup also contains bean sprouts and cabbage. The cabbage is great because it becomes sweet when heated. The generous amount of bean sprouts is very satisfying. The pork tripe is soft and delicious. This alone is amazing, but since it comes with udon noodles, there's no other way to describe it than it's a bargain. The udon noodles are thicker than Inaniwa udon. I don't really understand the difference in size of the udon. It's not like pasta, after all. And the leftover soup invites you to eat with rice without any worries. To finish off, we had Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) zosui, absolutely delicious. After this blissful lunch, I continued tidying up my belongings... or so I thought, but the lock to the storeroom is broken and won't open. No matter how hard I try, it won't open, so I interpret it as a divine revelation, that the Lord is telling me to take a break, and I spend the afternoon lazily.
