群馬県の旅。日本有数の観光山岳道路「志賀草津ルート」に突入。。
「標高2,100ｍの「横手山ドライブイン」で昼食なんです。
斜面地に建つ複雑造りの山小屋。
二階の展望レストランに上がると、今しがた走ってきた、「笠ヶ岳 2,076m」が綺麗に見えます。
オーダーは、6月限定・数量限定の「根曲がり竹定食」1300円（税込）。
小鉢が多いのはポイント高いです。
根曲がり竹の入った味噌汁、旨し。
野菜の炊き合わせも、旨し。
鶏の旨辛煮、旨し。
千切りの柔らジャガイモ、旨し。
６月だけ志賀高原で採れる根曲がり竹の炊き込みご飯。
お米は、「木島平産こしひかり」を使用とな。
根曲がり竹は、シットリ、ポリポリで柔らかくて、初夏の苦みがして、味が深い。
これも、旨しですなー。
熊笹の香りに包まれる抹茶風味の濃厚クリーミーな「熊笹ソフト」にも惹かれましたが、
カロリーが気になるお年頃なので我慢しました( ´∀｀ )/ぽん！
