2024/1 Matsumoto Lunch Since I came all the way to Matsumoto, I wanted to try Local Cuisine around here.So I went to this restaurant where you can eat Toji Soba.It's not that big inside, but the turnover was surprisingly quick, and I was able to line up for about 30 minutes to get in. I ordered a simple course of Touji soba, Sanzokuyaki, horse sashimi, and other Shinshu specialties.First of all, the horse sashimi was easy to eat and had no taste! Even the kids were eating it, which was rare.It was my first time to eat Sanzoku-yaki, but it felt like deep-fried chicken with a rich flavor.It tasted like something even the kids could eat.And for the main soba, first put the soba noodles in the pot with the wild vegetables for a few seconds. How to eat crunchy wild vegetables? The soup was delicious.There were 4 servings of soba, which was enough to fill you up.Next was the soba zosui, which was incredibly delicious. Just when I thought I was full after the sweet dashi soup, I was surprised when the final dish of Seiro Soba was brought to me! But this one was so delicious that I finished it all. The staff's customer service and the store's atmosphere were good, and it was a store I would like to visit again when I come to Matsumoto!
