I visited Matsumoto's 100 Famous Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). I made a reservation, but everyone who came later was turned away, indicating that it is a popular restaurant. Although this is a prefecture with no sea, it is a restaurant where you can enjoy exquisite Seafood dishes. First, try the Shinshu local sake "Daisetsukei Daiginjo" (1,320 yen). How easy to drink! I decided to buy it as a souvenir at the supermarket and take it home. The appetizer is fried shrimp, pickled chrysanthemum, and sesame miso tofu. It's delicious at this point. * Horse liver sashimi 1,650 yen It was so delicious that I looked up at the ceiling every time I took a bite. I eat it with salted sesame oil, and it's so melty and full of flavor. I felt extremely satisfied. * Horse sashimi 1,650 yen There are parts with fat and parts without. I preferred it with oil in it. It's crunchy and delicious. * Matsumoto Sanzokuyaki 1200 yen The size is large! It's well fried. It was piping hot and the batter wasn't heavy, so even though it was Sanzokuyaki, I felt like I could eat a lot. *Simmered new potatoes I think this restaurant is really good at cooking. The alcohol goes well with just the right amount of flavor. * Shirako Vinegar My favorite is Shirapon. It's curvy. * Grilled Onigiri 600 yen It took a while, so I guess they were grilling it slowly and carefully. The grilled miso Onigiri were fragrant and very delicious. * Mushroom hotpot 2,750 yen I was curious about the hotpot served at another table, and the chef recommended it to me, saying it was delicious, so of course I ordered it. It seems that all the mushrooms are grown nearby, and there are many mushrooms that cannot be found in supermarkets. There were a lot of mushrooms that I had never seen before. The miso overflows with the flavor of the mushrooms, making it a blissful hotpot. This is an exquisite hotpot that you can't find at other restaurants. There were many menu items and I enjoyed it quite a lot. It was a taste of the trip that I would like to visit again.
