馬肉バルと聞いて新しいお店なのかと思って行ってみたら何と明治創業の老舗というとこで馬肉尽くしコースを注文。1人5千円弱で馬刺し、串、竜田揚げ、桜鍋など主要なメニューが頂けます。九州の馬刺しよりやや厚切りの馬刺しは歯応えもあり味がしっかりしています。鍋は若干硬いのですが生卵ですき焼きのようにいただき食べやすくお腹にしっかりたまります。
ご飯ものは肉寿司をチョイスしましたが、これがまた美味い。月曜日にも関わらずお店が常に満席でお料理がなかなか出てこないなどありましたが、総合的には大満足でした。ハイボールもホワイトホースを使った馬ハイというところにもこだわりを感じます。松本に行ったら朝は蕎麦、昼は山賊焼き、夜は馬肉というのがオススメです。
