宿泊したホテル音羽の森での朝食。
チェックインの時に、和食か洋食か希望を聞かれ、
洋食を選ぶと、こちらレストラン桂姫で、和食は炭火串焼 音羽亭で となる。
大変綺麗なレストラン。
テーブル間も広く、年齢層高めの利用客が多いためか、店内は、心地よい静けさ。
紅葉が綺麗な中庭が望めるお席に案内された。
（この日の）朝食メニューは3種類。
ラ・サンテ、コンチネンタル（サラダがメイン）、フレンチトースト。

オレンジ・リンゴ・野菜とフルーツミックス・牛乳の中からひとつ選べる。

◆卵料理と軽井沢ソーセージ＆信州ポークの燻製ハムのプレート
卵料理は、フライドエッグ・オムレツ・スクランブルエッグの中から、オムレツを。

無添加食パン、シリアルローフ、ベリーローフ、ライブレッド）
好きなパンを好きなだけ頂ける。

野辺山高原のヨーグルトムース。苺と蜂蜜。

オーソドックスなメニュー内容だが、
サラダはシャキシャキ新鮮野菜たっぷり。
さりげなく置かれた3種類のドレッシングも、とても美味しい。
（赤玉葱とフランボワーズ、白いエシャロット、オリーブオイルとレモンヴィネガー）
焼きたてパンにつける自家製ジャムも美味しいが、
パンだけでも、それぞれ違う美味しさが楽しめて、いい。
私はパン全制覇は無理だったが、全部食べてみたいとお願いするお客が多いらしい。
一番気に入ったのが、最後に頂いたデザート。
蜂蜜のかかったヨーグルトムースの程良い甘さと爽やかさ。
上品な朝食に仕上げたひと品だったと思う。
優雅な雰囲気の中、窓からの景色を楽しみながら、ゆったりと朝食が頂けた。
私達は、宿泊での利用だったが、
予約すれば、宿泊なしでもOKの様。その場合、お値段は2750円となる。
因みに、音羽の森ホテル自体は、2階建てで、部屋数も少なく、こじんまりとしているが、
館内全体、レストラン同様静かでクラシックな雰囲気が漂っている。
お部屋の窓辺すぐの梢に、リスを見つけた。
