September 2022 On this day, I went to Nagano and Gunma prefectures using a 3-day holiday. First, after enjoying a morning meal at Mampei Hotel, I came to this restaurant in search of lunch. ``Kutsukake Dining'' This restaurant is said to be the main dining room of an inn called ``Kutsukake Stay,'' whose concept is ``gathering.'' ...Honestly, it's hard to convey when I spell it like this. So, to summarize, there is a shop on the first floor of the inn, and even non-guests can use this shop. Kutsukake is a renovated old folk house, so it has a Japanese-style atmosphere. In addition, due to the location in Karuizawa, it has become a calm and adult space. By the way, only the Kaiseki course is served in the evening. However, when it comes to lunch, it seems that you can enjoy the food more casually than in the evening. Kutsukake Sobazen 2,600 yen (handmade soba, 3 rolls Sushi, Tempura tempura, Small dish) The soba noodles are made by hand every morning at Nihachi Soba. Needless to say, I enjoyed the excellent texture and down my throat. On the other hand, the Sushi toppings for this day were tuna, shokko, and squid. It seems that all of the items are shipped directly from Miura & Misaki, so you can enjoy fresh seafood even though they are small in size. Overall, the restaurant mainly serves kaiseki cuisine, so the portions and prices are quite reasonable. However, I was satisfied with the quality of the food, which was worth the price.
