○『荻野屋』（峠の釜めし本舗 おぎのや） 明治18年創業 |
軽井沢のしなの鉄道改札前にある駅弁と立ち食いそばのお店です。言わずと知れた「峠の釜めし」が名物。いささかマンネリ感はあるものの、何だかんだ言って軽井沢来るとほぼ毎回利用している気がします。
今回は旧軽銀座、中軽のツルヤを回って16:45着のしなの鉄道で軽井沢駅に戻って来た後に立ち寄りました。
この時間「峠の釜めし」の在庫は十分ですが現在販売している23時消費期限ものがこの日最後の入荷分とのこと。19時少し前の新幹線で東京に帰る頃に残っている保証はありません。
でも益子焼の器に入った「峠の釜めし」は重くて南口のプリンス系ショッピングモール行くには足手まとい。どうしようか悩んでいると18:30までなら取り置きができる旨書かれた貼り紙を発見しました。
へぇ〜、これは便利。渡りに舟とばかり二個購入して会計、預り証を受け取って南口に向かいました。
ジーンズの裾上げ等で時間取られて売場に戻ってきたのは18時35分頃。でも売場は開いていて無事釜めしを受け取ることができました。実は結果的にこのタイミングでもまだ在庫は残っていましたが、売り切れの心配をしなくて済んだのは良かったと思います。
東京に帰ってから食べた釜めしはいつも安定の美味しさ。東京の系列店や催事で買ったものよりも何故か美味しく感じます。
今回も、
・製造法的には不可能なおこげが欲しい
・あんずは要らないかも
・プラスチック容器の漬物セットも単体で販売して欲しい
・益子焼の器は嵩張るけどどうしようか
と考えながら美味しく頂きました。
今後も取り置きのサービスは積極的に利用したいと思います。
