2016年9月の土曜日夕方に伺いました。
大鹿村には、中央構造線博物館というのがあると知って、見学に行きました。
博物館は、16:30までで、夕食には少し早かったのですが、大鹿村特産という鹿肉を目当てに伺いました。
塩の里の駐車場に到着したのは、16:45頃で、食事処（17:00～）が空くには少し早かったので、
お隣のお豆腐屋さんで、お豆腐をたくさん食べてしまいました。
とはいえ、折角来たので、お店に入りました。
開店直後ということもあり、他にお客さんは無く、適当にテーブルに着きました。
鹿肉以外のメニューもあり、ジンギスカン焼肉定食なんてのもあるのですが、当然、鹿肉を選択します。
鹿肉メニューは、鹿肉ハンバーグ定食、鹿肉の焼肉定食、鹿肉カレーと３種類あるのですが、
メニューの一番上に書かれていた、「鹿肉ハンバーグ定食」を注文しました。
しばらくして提供された鹿肉ハンバーグを頂きます。
たしかに、牛や豚とは違う、これが鹿肉の味なのかなという味わいのハンバーグです。
鹿肉というからもっと野性味のある味わいを想像していたら、ちょっと拍子抜け。
とはいえ、このハンバーグは美味しい。
鹿肉の旨さが上手に引き出されているからか、癖が無いのが物足りないぐらいの、美味しさです。
お豆腐で膨らんだお腹でも、美味しく完食できました。
