One of the attractions of Sasebo is its "exotic atmosphere." There are many American drivers on the roads, and it's quite an exciting town♪ But I still wasn't satisfied, so I went to a Tex-Mex restaurant called [b:＜MIKE'S＞]! (￣∇￣) This is a chain restaurant that has branches in areas with US military bases nationwide, such as Yokosuka and Yokota, in addition to Sasebo. This Sasebo store has been in business for over 10 years. Oh, "Tex-Mex" means Mexican-style American Cuisine, and tacos and burritos are famous in Japan too. By the way, the dishes I got hooked on last year were ① Quesadillas ② Tostada(s) Salad ③ Carne Asada Fries♪ ① is quite common, but it would be a miracle if I could find ③ in Japan? ^^ I entered the restaurant after 7:30 p.m. I sat at the counter and looked at the menu. . Wow! They have tostada salad! I have no choice but to order it!! (≧▽≦) So I ordered the "Taco Salad (Chicken/Mild)/1,100 yen" and a Mexican beer, "Tecate/600 yen". According to the menu, the taco salad here is a deep-fried tortilla bowl filled with salad. This is exactly what they call a "Tostada Salad". ^^ Behind me, an American man and woman were drunk and talking like a machine gun in English ♪ Where are the waiters from? ? It doesn't seem to be an Asian language... Spanish? ? Maybe they're from Spain? ? ( *´艸`)ｽｷ Soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the sharp Mexican beer "Tecate", the taco salad was brought out shortly after. The splendid tortilla bowl was filled with lettuce, tomato, cheese, chicken, guacamole, and... my favorite sour cream! ヾ(≧▽≦)ノ I never thought it would be possible to reopen in Japan. (´；ω；｀) I was really moved. ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)゜｡ The vinegar dressing was a little sour, but it was still delicious♪ The sour cream was especially good♪ I was so excited (lol) that I ordered an additional Quesadilla (chicken) (680 yen) and a Mexican beer Negra Modelo (600 yen). Quesadillas are tortillas stuffed with cheese and meat and grilled. To be honest, the quality wasn't that high, but I was able to reunite with my two favorite Tex-Mex dishes and was very satisfied♪ I'll hold off on the tequila since I have another one tomorrow (lol). Ah, this was the exotic feeling I was looking for. (*´∀｀*) It was a fulfilling first day♪
