午前11時過ぎにこちらへ訪問。入口に「番号札を取ってお待ちください」と貼り紙があったが、どこに番号札があるのか見つけられず、キョロキョロしていると店員さんから「お一人様でしたらカウンターが空いていますのでどうぞ」と声をかけられる。先客が数組いたが、テーブル席が空くのを待っていたようだ。具雑煮なるものを食べることは決めていたのだが、冬限定のカキフライ定食にも心を惹かれ、どちらも注文する。ついでに生ビールも。最初に具雑煮が提供される。記憶力のテストに使えそうなぐらい、色々な具が入っている。文字通り具だくさんのお雑煮である。続いてカキフライ定食が届く。至って普通のカキフライ定食に見えるが、カキフライがやたらと旨い。そういえば昨夜も酒のつまみでカキフライを食べたのだが、断然、こちらの方が美味しい。どちらも揚げたてなのだが、この差はいかに。ちなみに島原城を見学後、午後1時位にお店の前を通ると駐車場待ちで車が並んでいた。御馳走様でした。
