(2016/4/6) I used the Night Passport. After seeing the cherry blossoms on the Saho River with my partner, we went bar-hopping and this was the first place we visited. From Shin-Omiya Station, go west through the drinking district for about 7-8 minutes, then go down a small side street to find the restaurant. From Shin-Omiya Station to this area, there are many snack bars and drinking establishments. I used to live in 6th Street when I was single, so I know this area well. At that time, I ate dinner at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) almost every day, so I visited a lot of different restaurants - I'm nostalgic! Seoul House is a Korean Cuisine restaurant, as the name suggests, and I visited it for the first time in a while. The atmosphere inside hasn't changed much - The Night Passport menu includes chive pancakes, Korean-style cold tofu, and draft beer, which are worth 1640 yen, all for 1000 yen. My partner Chuhai (Shochu cocktail) @350 and I ordered a draft beer from Passport. We immediately had three types of appetizers on a small plate, two servings @300 x 2 (dried squid kimchi, spicy konjac, shirataki with cod roe). The dried squid kimchi goes well with alcohol. I got hooked on ichiji after eating it for the first time at a Korean Cuisine restaurant, and I often bought some when I went to Tsuruhashi. I bought a lot and shared them with my friend, who said it went well with rice (lol). I immediately added makgeolli @1000. Drinking it from a teacup-style cup is warming and delicious. If you drink it with a group, you'll open several bottles and ask for more (lol). The chive pancakes were crispy on both sides, and the Korean-style cold tofu was beautifully presented, and both were delicious. Gyoza / Dumpling @400 had a strong meat flavor, and it was the first Gyoza / Dumpling I'd ever tasted. When I visited before, I ate samgyeopsal and grilled meat, but when I looked at the menu, I was surprised to see that there were so many Korean Cuisine on the menu. It might be better to go in a group rather than just two people, so you can enjoy a variety of Korean Cuisine ♪ Thank you for the meal (⌒▽⌒)
