Sunday, November 12th Lunch on this day was at Tsuruhashi Fugetsu Saidaiji Branch. It was our first time as a group of three. I think I'd been here once with my mom twenty years ago. We arrived around 11:30 but it was full. We waited at the counter for about 10 minutes. Here's what we ordered. (All prices include tax) Mega Melon Soda (son) 400 yen Mega Coca-Cola (wife) 400 yen Mega Mug (me) 1,160 yen Fugetsu Yaki 1,490 yen Spicy Kimchi Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) (large) 1,570 yen Thick-sliced bacon 570 yen Potato asparagus 680 yen Pork and egg 950 yen Corn butter 470 yen Grilled potato cheese 630 yen Draft beer (medium) (me) 590 yen Here's a quick review. Mega Mug 800cc, which is twice the usual amount. It's very satisfying to drink and always stays cold!! If a medium draft beer is usually 590 yen, it's only 20 yen cheaper. □Thick-cut bacon A total of 6 slices. I grilled it thoroughly before eating it. (๑´ڡ`๑) Delicious♪ □Potato and asparagus It is cooked in the kitchen and then served. Potatoes, asparagus, and pork belly. It's got a nice amount of butter in it and is super (๑´ڡ`๑) delicious ♡ □Delicious spicy kimchi Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) ( '༥' )ŧ‹"ŧ‹"ŧ‹"ŧ‹"ŧ‹" ( *˙ω˙*)و Good! But it's quite spicy!!! It made me sweat profusely!!! □Fugetsuyaki A gorgeous Okonomiyaki filled with shrimp and squid!! The staff cooked it right in front of you. I think it took about 20 minutes. ( '༥' )ŧ‹"ŧ‹"ŧ‹"ŧ‹"ŧ‹" Yummy━━━(*´ч ` *)━━━!!!! They must have done a great job of incorporating air when mixing the cabbage with the batter. It's really tasty!!! □Butter corn Prepared in the kitchen before being served. Just as tasty♪ □Grilled potato cheese Prepared in the kitchen before being served. ( •̀ω•́ )و✧ Delicious! My son and mom seemed to like it!! □ Butatama As with Fugetsuyaki, the staff grills it right in front of you. ( ﾟдﾟ) Mmm! It feels so good!!! I still felt like I could have eaten some "Tonpeiyaki" too, but I was only 80% full so I stopped. It was delicious!!! Thank you for the meal!!!
