I was invited to visit since May last year, and it was my long-awaited first time at Jikon. Two-star Michelin. It's a premium seat that takes a year to reserve. ・*:.。 。.:*・゚✽.。.:*・゚・*:.。 。.:*・゚✽.。.:* If this post was helpful, please like and follow! ☺️ ・*:.。 。.:*・゚✽.。.:*・゚・*:.。 。.:*・゚✽.。.:* Jikon is a Zen word that means to enjoy this moment. □ Appetizer (Vinegared dish dish) Real mill clams and tairagai, kogoumi, green asparagus, udo, bachiko (blue-green algae from sea cucumber) Elegant taste. It goes well with sake! ☺️ □Clear soup: Clams from Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, Kudzu tataki, Naruto wakame, Potato chestnut flowers, Yuzu flowers What is Kudzu tataki? Lol What is Potato chestnut flowers? Lol Lots of firsts □Sashimi: Sakura dai, sea urchin, Kensaki squid Eat with Tosa soy sauce and salted kelp Eat Sakura dai with salted kelp! That's what I was told, but personally I thought it was just not seasoned. Lol Don't rely on salted kelp □First bonito: First bonito from Wakayama Prefecture Skin grilled over charcoal ☺️ Fry leaf onions in sesame oil and slice bulbs. Top with soy sauce pickled in wild garlic. □ Hassun •Hanami sushi (chirashi Sushi) •Sakuramasu yuan-yaki and bamboo shoots with kinome •Sea bream milt simmered in sakura (cooked with cherry blossoms) •Black abalone, liver and broad beans •Hokki shellfish, urui yolk with vinegar •Firefly squid, white asparagus, fruit tomato, flower wasabi marinade The hokki shellfish and firefly squid were served in a cute mandarin duck-shaped dish, which was cute □Yamato beef fillet and bamboo shoot Steak with sansho pepper, white leek, and rape blossoms. The bamboo shoots were so thick☺️☺️ The meat was delicious too □Bamboo shoots and sweet potato This dish can only be eaten at high-end restaurants Thin green peas simmered in a mortar, Sakura shrimp tempura It has a gentle taste □Saba no Bar Sushi Come to think of it, today was all about bamboo shoots! Lol Bamboo shoots, ginger, and rice cooked with Japanese pepper I ordered a second bowl and topped it with plenty of dried Japanese pepper □ Uguisu mochi, Kiyomi orange sorbet, strawberry Dessert It's a dessert to settle your stomach, but I thought it would be okay to just enjoy the aftertaste and go home without dessert.
