This is Niko and ... Coffee, a cafe located on the 3rd floor of Nara Family in Yamato-Saidaiji, Nara. It is commonly known as Niko Cafe. It is located in a corner of the fashion floor, but is surprisingly spacious and relaxing. In addition to the cafe menu, their specialty is Nikopan, a rolled bun with various ingredients sandwiched inside. I ordered a blended coffee and Nikopan egg salad. It was served within a few minutes. It's a hidden gem, perhaps because it's not well known. It's hard to get a seat at Tully's or Starbucks, but here you can easily get a coffee. The Nikopan is as expected, with a fair amount of egg salad sandwiched inside the rolled bun. It's not inferior to Komeda's egg sandwich, I think. The coffee was a high-pressure extracted type, and was bitter. This coffee would go well with Sweets. Thank you for the meal.
