北新地ハラミが奈良にやってきました。新大宮駅から徒歩5分。駐車場は近隣の有料パーキングを利用します。
店内は、カウンターと半個室が2室程あるようです。半個室の利用は3名からとなり、2名以下ではカウンターの利用となります。
平日、開店17時少し前に訪問しましたが、すでに先客がいました。
今回は、コースではなく、アラカルトで注文しました。
名物のハラミは200gからの注文となります。今回は、安い方のハラミを注文。
よく下処理されたハラミの肉塊を店員さんが丁寧に焼いてくれます。豪快にブランデーでフランベした後、少し寝かしてから、カットいただいたものを提供されます。
レアなのでお好みで焼いてくださいとの事。焼肉のタレを付けて、卵黄、トリュフをくぐらせていただきました。
店の看板メニューだけあって美味敷くないわけがありません。こうなってくると幻のハラミが気になりますが、これは次回のお楽しみとしましょう。余った卵黄は、ご飯にかけても間違い無かったです。卵黄は、スーパーで買う卵よりも明らかに濃い色味で味も濃厚でした。
上タンネギ塩は2人前を注文。
部位は、タン先ですが厚みはそこそこ肉厚でした。コリコリと歯ごたえがあり、なかなかに美味でした。すだち、ネギ塩をかけていただきました。

店員さんが丁寧に焼いてくれました。

先程、食したタン先よりも柔らかくて、肉汁がジュワっと溢れてきました。衝撃的な美味さを感じ、思わず唸ってしまいました。
続いて上ミノを一人前を注文。
しっかりと下処理がされたミノは、コリコリした食感で歯切れが良かったです。そこらの安くてガムみたいなミノとは全くの別物でした。
後、お肉は、上カルビ、焼きしゃぶロースを頼みましたが、今ひとつでした。
このお店ではハラミが主役なのは頷けます。
ご飯は、大中小で注文できます。2回、大を注文しましたが、量が安定してないなと感じました。一回目は少なくて、2回目は多かったです。
冷麺は、和風出汁にすだちが効いたスープにコシのある中細麺が合わさてあり、具はありません。非常にさっぱりした味わいのため、シメにはぴったりでした。ただ、個人的には自分でお酢を加えて味変していくタイプの冷麺が好みです。麺の量やトッピングが何もない事を考えると強気な設定かなと感じました。
ビールはオシャレなグラスで提供されますので、ジョッキでいきたい人には物足りなさを感じると思いますが、そこは高級志向のお店なので仕方ないですね。
なにはともあれ、満足できました。
次回は、幻のハラミを楽しみたいです。
