ようやく、みやけ旧鴻池邸表屋の新作「さくら咲くパフェ」を食べに行ったのは先月末。店に着いたのは正午。平日の昼食時、天候は春とは思えない冷たい豪雨。このシチュエーションでわざわざ菓子を食べに来る人などそうは多くないだろうと思っていたら意外や意外、ほぼ満席。なんとか待たずに入れたが、さすがに超人気店。
パフェは期待以上の美味しさ。雨が降りそそぐ庭園を眺めながらお抹茶と一緒にいただいた。
そしてその1週間後、月は代わって4月、もちろんリピート。今度は甘党の知人と。「さくら咲くパフェ」、彼も絶賛。頂上から底まで、美味しさを変化させながら飽きさせない工夫が見事、今回は桜も盛りで天候もよく、春をとことん満喫できた。おすすめです。
