[Visited in early January 2016] http://shuren777.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-249.html This is the blog post for that day ♡ Happy New Year (^^) I went to the first shrine visit of the year at Hosanji Temple and to Mirakuza Ikoma Branch, which is open from New Year's Day! I thoroughly enjoyed the great value New Year's celebration set for 2016 yen ~♥ [Visited in late December 2015] http://shuren777.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-242.html This is the blog post for that day ♡ They'll be open until the 30th of this year, and from New Year's Day! I'll have to go again for the year-end party and the New Year's party (*^_^*) [Visited in late November 2015] http://shuren777.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-210.html This is the blog post for that day ♡ This is my second visit. This time, I was able to sit in the sunken tatami room (^^) [First review] The other day, I visited Mirakuza Saidaiji Branch and was surprised to hear that the manager had been transferred to Mirakuza Ikoma Branch! If that's the case, I decided to visit Mirakuza Ikoma Branch, which I've never been to before, and immediately went for a drink in the afternoon~♡ Since it was my first time, I couldn't imagine the size of the restaurant or how busy it would be, so I made a reservation just in case and went there in the afternoon. It's in a very convenient location in front of Ikoma Station, and although there are sunken tatami rooms, table seats, and counter seats, it is a small restaurant with a Showa-era Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) feel. The lighting is also dim, so you can enjoy the night atmosphere even during the day. It was almost full, and there were a few people waiting at the entrance, so it was a great idea to make a reservation! I was shown to a table seat in the back, and as usual, I started with a beer! Draft beer was 520 yen, but they had a great lunch beer (small draft beer) for 220 yen, so of course I went for the lunch beer (^^) Even though it was a small draft beer, it was a good amount, so the price was very helpful. Looking at the menu, since it was lunchtime there were several set meals, but there was also a wide selection of a la carte dishes, which was great. There seemed to be some dishes that were shared with the Saidaiji store, but there were also many a la carte dishes unique to the Ikoma store, so since I was there, I decided to try some dishes that I could only find at the Ikoma store... First, I ordered daikon salad for 380 yen, snake for 350 yen, doteyaki for 380 yen, and fried eggplant for 280 yen. I was surprised at how cheap everything was, but the portions were generous and it was very delicious. There was a wide selection of alcohol, so I had a hard time deciding, but after the beer I decided to have a bottle of shochu! I decided to keep the bottle of Ikkosha's red potato shochu (720ml) for 2,200 yen, which was recommended and a good deal, and ordered it on the rocks (^^) I've had Ikkosha a few times before, but this was my first time trying the red, so I was very curious! It was delicious~♡ Meanwhile, the number of customers drinking during the day, like us, was increasing, replacing the customers ordering set meals. At the table next to us, a group of older men were enjoying plenty of beer and shochu, creating the perfect atmosphere of a nighttime bar! My excitement was building even more, so I decided to order the day's special menu that was written on the blackboard! I ordered the slightly unusual fried Atka mackerel meatballs for 450 yen. The fried eggplant was stuffed with Atka mackerel and had a real taste of Atka mackerel, so it was quite good (^^) Fried food was delicious, so afterwards I ordered fried chicken skin for 280 yen, tempura with shrimp for 120 yen, shiitake mushrooms for 80 yen, shishito peppers for 70 yen, and onions for 70 yen. Each piece of fried chicken skin was large and had a sufficient amount, but I was surprised by the onion in the tempura! It was very large (^^) I was already very satisfied, but I wanted to enjoy the red Ikkomono a little more, so I ended up ordering some Morokyu for 280 yen. Morokyu is also available at the Saidaiji store, and just like at the Saidaiji store, the cucumber was very fresh (^^) They are open from 11am until night, and smoking is allowed! All prices are tax included and there was no extra charge. There seems to be a banquet hall and a tatami room on the other side of the corridor, and I would like to drink in one of those rooms someday (^^) I still have a few bottles left, so I'll definitely come back soon♡
