郡山城址の西、斑鳩町へ抜ける県道から少し入ったところにある民家1階を店舗にした蕎麦屋さん。
ご主人が定年後に自宅を改装して開店したらしい。
建物は特に和風というわけではなくまさに昭和の一軒家。
普通の家のように玄関で靴を脱ぎ、1階の座敷へ。
日当たりの良い窓際の席に着いた。
おそらくご主人の奥様と思われる方がお茶、お菓子、おしぼりを持って注文をききに来てくれた。
桜えびの天ざる蕎麦にした。
断りをいれ、常連さんを後回しにして先に持って来てくれた。
急いでいる雰囲気を出していたかな？
天ぷらは桜えびの入ったかき揚げの下にかぼちゃと春菊。
山椒塩がおすすめとのこと。
カラッとサクサクに揚がり、軽く食感でなかなかいい。
薬味はワサビ、オロシ、刻みネギ。
先ずはそのまま。香りはそんなにしないが、細くてエッジが効いて本格的。器は奈良絵の入った赤膚焼。
つゆは濃くてキリッとしている。
蕎麦湯はトロッとしていた。
関西ではこういう蕎麦を出してくれる店は貴重。
もちろん再訪問あり。
