This is my favorite Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that I always go to every time I go back to Nara. They say there is nothing delicious in Nara, but everything I eat is really delicious and it's a great value restaurant. Once you go, you'll definitely want to go back! I hate how they serve seared Spanish mackerel even though Nara is a landlocked prefecture. I'm always very satisfied with the quality of the ingredients and the food. Even as a licensed sake sommelier, I highly rate this place because they have a good selection of sake and the sake tasting set is reasonably priced so you can try a variety of sake. I travel around Japan and overseas for nearly 200 days a year, eat a lot of local gourmet food, and spend enough money on food to build a house in Tokyo, so I can confidently recommend this place, which is one of the representative restaurants of my hometown, Nara. As usual, I was so busy eating that I forgot to take pictures, but this time, the four of us ate and drank to our heart's content and it cost just under 13,000 yen. Thank you for the meal, I'll come again.
