I went to Yoshino to see the cherry blossoms. On the way back, I stopped by Asuka. I remembered that there was a dish I had always wanted to try in Asuka, so I did some research. The opening hours didn't suit me, and it was far from where I was, so my options narrowed down, and this restaurant was the one that remained. Not only does this restaurant support local vegetables, but they also grow their own vegetables and use them in the restaurant. At this restaurant, I ordered the long-awaited Asuka nabe. The chicken soup contains milk, so it is cloudy. The soup alone is so delicious that it is comforting. The combination of soup and milk is a predictable taste in a way, but it was even more delicious than I expected. The rice porridge at the end of the meal was also delicious. I ordered two servings of rice porridge, thinking I had reduced the amount, but it was still too much and I ate until I was bursting at the seams. Although the amount I ordered was small, I was very satisfied.
