奈良の大神神社の初詣の際に参道にある、今西酒造さんにお邪魔しました。
松林で形成された風情ある参道を神社に向かい歩いていると、参道の南側に造り酒屋を発見しました。
奈良の地酒を購入しようと思い、参拝後に伺いました。
お店に入ると、三諸杉という名前の美味しそうなお酒が展示されています。
並らんでいるお酒は、純米大吟醸のみです。価格は四合瓶で2750円、1升瓶で5500円でした。
試飲を勧められましたが、車なので辞退しました。
好みのお酒が見当たらず、少々値も張るため、購入を見送りました。
一方で、甘酒が一杯200円で、販売されています。
これなら車でも大丈夫だと思い、こちらをお願いし、お店の前で頂きました。
暖かくてほっとする甘酒でした。
曇りの肌寒い日だったので、甘酒の暖かさが有り難く感じます。
ナイスな甘酒でした。

大神神社の横にある展望台からの眺めは、高校生の古典の授業で聞いた事がある大和三山が見えました。
古典は大の苦手でしたが、天の香具山など万葉集に出てきた事が思い出しました。
リタイアしたら、時間をかけて奈良を訪問してみることもありだなと思いました。
