宇陀市の『葛の館』へ。近くには道の駅 宇陀路 大宇陀や、白壁の目立つ昔ながらの風情が残る保存地区もあります。
直売所でお土産を買う前にひと息入れようと、店内の『茶房 葛味庵』で『葛切り』を注文しました。
本物の吉野葛から作られた葛切りは初めて食べましたが、巷で売られているものとは別の食べ物ですね。タラ白子とフグ白子くらい違います（笑）
ひたすら淡く滑らかで、『上質感』がひしひしと伝わってきます。
添付の黒蜜のほのかな甘さも絶妙で全くくどさを感じません。食後にのどが渇かないって書けば凄さが伝わるでしょうか。
