A warm and cozy side dish of the day.
Passing through the curtain featuring a leisurely swimming goldfish, you will find Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Kingyo. The restaurant is small, but has a peaceful and cozy hideaway atmosphere. The ho |
Chuo-ku, Niigata City. It's a back alley in the downtown area. It's near the previously introduced "Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Ibuki", "Tsumayoji" and "Genghis Khan Ishida". There are still a few interesting restaurants on this street. This restaurant is said to be "a restaurant that prides itself on fish dishes and local sake". I dropped in for a quick reconnaissance. The menu has a lot of fish dishes, but there are also various Meat Dishes. They also have oden, which is only available in winter. They also have a fair selection of local sake. ◆The appetizer is like a Chinese-style salad with vermicelli. ◆As for drinks, I had some sake. I had Echigo Kagetora Super Dry. The sake meter value is quite high, and it has a refreshing taste. ◆Pork ponzu. The crunchy texture is irresistible. It's refreshing on a hot day. ◆Stewed Hamburg steak. I never thought I'd order Hamburg even at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) (-ω-;) I was attracted by the demi-glace sauce that was added over and over. It looks delicious. It actually is delicious. The mellow demi-glace sauce is nice. You'll want rice, it's sure to go well with the dish. (I refrained from having rice at night because I'm on a carb restriction (TT)) It's a really good restaurant. Oh, I haven't had any fish dishes yet (^-^; I'll come again ♪ Thank you for the meal.
