新潟に到着し、またしても椿商店は営業しておらず、たまには古町で飲むかと少し歩く。しかし歩けども歩けどもこれといった店には出逢えず30分ほど歩きようやくこちらへ。
入店してすぐに靴を脱いで中へ。掘りごたつに通されます。まずはビールで乾杯。
地物の魚系メニューを一通り頼み…
時間が経ってしまっているのであまり記憶はないですが、岩カキはなかなかの大きさ、と言っても私は食べられないのですが…オコゼなどの深海魚があったり、鯛の昆布〆があったりと北陸の文化も少し入っている印象。のどぐろはマリンドリーム能生で食べたサイズを超えるものは未だ現れず、ここでも出逢えませんでした。
