新潟市中央区信濃町にある「とんかつ とんき」さん。最寄りの駅はJR関屋駅。
とんきと言えば東京目黒の老舗とんかつ屋さん。その総本山の伝統を受け継ぐ暖簾分け店。
美味しいに決まってる。笑
ちなみに新潟県内にはこちらのお店をはじめ、新潟市中央区白山、新発田市にもあり、それぞれ別なオーナーさんが運営。
関屋にあるとんきさんは、女性店主さんが切り盛りしていて、訪問した日はワンオペ。手際よく調理して、お会計して、下膳をしている。まさに熟練した、
おかあちゃん。
おかあちゃんから注文を聞かれたので、ここはやはりオーソドックスな、
とんかつ定食1360円
をオーダー。定食に付属しているのは新潟産コシヒカリを使用したごはん、豚汁並みに具沢山な味噌汁、漬物が付いてくる。特に味噌汁は熱々で、どこか懐かしくてホッとする、かあちゃんの味風。ちなみのちなみに、

メインのとんかつは低温でじっくりと揚げられたとんかつは、薄い衣を纏い想像通りのサックサク。肉厚でジューシー。肉の端っこには程よい脂身。個人的にとんかつソースを、
ビシャビシャにかけるのが大好き。笑
あとは肉、ご飯、肉、ご飯のお決まりのルーティーンごはんがススム君で、ガシガシとんかつを食う。たまにお口直しで千切りキャベツ。もちろんキャベツにもソースをビシャビシャかけている。笑

お代わり無料サービスをまったく行使する事なく、デフォルト定食でフィニッシュ。
