新潟市中央区『とんかつ とんき』さんです。
西大通りから一本入った小路の通り沿い
中央区信濃町にあります。
お店はマンション1階のテナントで、建物脇の駐車スペースには2台分確保されています。
看板には「目黒 とんかつ とんき」の文字
「とんかつ とんき」は東京目黒にある有名なとんかつ店で、本店は昭和14年創業のとんかつ店の老舗。
ここから暖簾分けしたお店は全国に多数あり、新潟県内に「とんかつ とんき」を名乗るお店は3店舗あり新発田市と、新潟市内には中央区白山とここ。
こちらも新潟にお店を出して50年以上とか。歴史を感じます。
店内はカウンターと座敷にテーブル席があり、女将さんが一人で切り盛りされていました。
今回、私がいただいたのは
「特大とんかつ定食」¥1715
名前のとおり、特大サイズのボリューム！
とても分厚いロース肉です
こちらはご飯･キャベツおかわりOK
肉には程よく脂身がついているのですが、上質な肉ほど脂身部分にも甘みがありクドくない。
ご飯も炊きたてで、大根とにんじんの味噌汁も旨かった。つけあわせの千切りキャベツも新鮮。
なかなかの値段ですが、これは十分その価値がありますね。
老舗のとんかつの味を堪能出来ましたよ。
