東京目黒の名店「とんき」の暖簾分け店で、新潟名物ソースカツ丼もあると聞いてお伺いしました。
現在の場所に移転してから44年という歴史あるお店。
移転前のファンも来店するそうで、末永く多くの人から愛されているようです。
この度頂いたもの
・かつ丼 1,170円
厚みのある肉に、きめ細かくサクサクしっとりな衣。
ソースカツ丼専門店ではないためご飯との接地面の衣は剥がれるが、それを補って余りある魅力がある。
表面は最後までサクッと感を維持。
肉の美味を感じられ、他店にはないソースカツ丼である。
次第にしっとりする衣を一体感と捉えるか保守的に否定するかは個人の感覚次第だろう。
タレは甘味があるが寧ろこの甘味が良い！
名古屋の【味噌カツ】よりは甘味も塩味も相当穏やかなので、食後感がことのほか軽い。
味噌汁の味噌のコクと風味を楽しめるので、街場の定食屋さんのそれとは一段違う。
